A New journey

I started this blog as an assignment for one of my online courses this semester, and am now faced with a dilemma…

Is this the beginning of something I want to keep up with, or will I discontinue this blog at the end of the course?
I have thoroughly enjoyed the class that this blog was inspired by. Being out of the classroom for as long as I have, the technological advancements that have occurred are astounding to me. I have thoroughly enjoyed planning lessons with Minecraft and AI tools and exploring the many different Google tools and virtual field trips that I can send my students on in the future.

One of the things that taking these classes has shown me is that my passion for the classroom may have taken a backseat for many years while I raised my kids and worked on the farm, but it has not dimmed that passion that was always there. So even though the job that I was hoping for did not come through, I will not be giving up on this new journey,.

So in whatever capacity it may be, I look forward to spending the next years of my life doing what I was meant to do – teach students in a classroom, and continue to share my passion for agriculture in whatever way that I can. God’s plans are always better than mine, and I look forward to seeing where His path will lead me.

And I really think I will be continuing this blogging journey. I enjoy sharing my stories and adventures with people, and this is a great way to share what really happens on our farm with people who don’t get to interact with that lifestyle every day. So I look forward to sharing more of our family’s wild adventures and new beginnings with you as time goes by!
